People flocked to The Spring in the 50s to take advantage of its waters’ restorative properties. The property includes an indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, massage rooms, outdoor fire pit and a large swimming pool, around which are most of the boutique spa’s rooms.

Guests get a set of keys granting them access to the facilities 24 hours a day, making jacuzzi jet action at 3am a reality. Here the staff is attentive, but not intrusive. The accommodation fee includes a complimentary continental breakfast of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, yogurt, whole grained breads, teas and coffees, which can be enjoyed outside on the lawn. On the weekends, the lawn is the setting for yoga classes. For those who cannot disconnect completely at The Spring, there is wi-fi throughout the property.

A 7-8 hour drive from the Grand Canyon and 2 hours from Los Angeles, it is the perfect way to recover from intense hiking or the buzz of metropolis living. Another guest also recommend the Hope Springs Motel Resort, in the Desert Hot Springs area.

For naturists ready to explore the spa scene au natural, sites abound in Desert Hot Springs and nearby Palm Springs. In Desert Hot Springs, there is the Areolas spa. Perhaps most popular is the Desert Sun Resort in Palm Springs, boasting the “world’s first Nude Bridge,” a 140-foot pedestrian crossing that passes above one of the busiest streets in the area.

Al llegar al hotel/sparecibes unos flores de bienvenida y las llaves para acceder a las instalacioneslos 24 horas del día. Si te apetece pasar tiempo en el jacuzzi sobre las 3 dela mañana, aquí sí se puede. Las habitaciónes han sido decoradas con un estilo minimalista. Algunas tienen cocinas pequeñas con electrodomésticos dealta gama. Está recomendado no utilizar los teléfonos móviles y se recomienda hablar en vozbaja o susurrar. Para crear un ambiente relajado y sereno cada habitacióntiene incienso Nagchampa, velas y CDs con música relajante y sonidos de la naturaleza. Tambien hay zapatillas y albornozes para poner. Y las camas, pues, son divinas. Las almohadas y los colchones son mullidos y dan la sensación de dormir en una nube.

Los empleados del balnearioson atentos pero no molestan a los huéspedes. El precio de la estancia incluye un desayuno defrutas frescas, zumos naturales, yogures, pan integral, tés y cafés que sepuede comer afuera en el césped. Durante los fines de semanaofrecen clases de yoga en el césped. Para quienes no pueden desconectarsetotalmente del mundo, hay wifi en toda la propiedad.
